This is very impressive considering that even the SNES can only do it with an extra chip and the NES can usually hardly display anything side by side without flickering. It feels very much like the original game and is also visually very close. I hope you manage to add enemies and items. Thank you for this great work!

oh this is a cool idea, and maybe racers from other nes homebrew games. make it like a 'indy' kart racer.
